I am/was editing using imovie 2.1.2 (old i know!!) and it somehow bugged out. When i try and open my file now it says 'your project file is not readable' then tells me that i have 289 files that 'don't belong in the project folder' and asks me if i want to trash them (i say no). It then closes itself and i get an error message saying that it shut down unexpectedly and mac osx isn't affected do i want to relaunch or ignore.
I can look in my imovie folder and see the clips and they play individually on quicktime so they aren't corrupted or anything. Why did this happen? and more importantly is there any way i can solve this problem and save all my long hard work?, this happened once before when for some reason it crashed. I managed to reload all the clips but they needed re editing so it basically put me back to square one.
HELP!!!!!
thanks
Jason
