Installed New Hard Drive But...

I installed a new Hitachi T1 hard drive into my G5. I have tried Super Duper, Clone copy and both have failed to copy from one hard drive to another. I need to transfer the data from my 160gb to the T1. Any suggestions?

The one error I am getting is files for my Epson printer are too large and the other I am getting is permissions. I have fix permissions on the 160gb. I also have erased and zeroed out the T1. I am stumped and I need to get the data over to the new drive as I do not have the software that came with the computer.

Thanks

load a system on the 1T and try migration assistant before creating a user. If it doesn't work that way try creating a dummy user, set energy saver prefs to never sleep, run software updates then try applications/utilities/migration assistant.

What partition scheme and what disk format are you using for the new 1TB hard drive?

They should be "APM (Apple Partition Map)" and "Mac OS Extended," respectively (although "GUID" would also be an acceptable partition map scheme if you don't intend to boot your G5 from the 1TB hard drive).

Thanks for help, I knew someone here could help me. I ended up installing the MAC OS on the T1 and it copies the files over from the 160gb hd now all i have to do is get the wireless working and I am good to go.
thanks for the suggestions.
