Internal Hdd Always Attempts to Mount After Login

I have searched for this but maybe I'm not using the right keywords.

I understand, by default, Mac OS X attempts to mount any attached disk drive once you login. I have an internal hard drive and an external hard drive attached to my Mac Mini and I would like for Mac OS X to NOT attempt to mount my internal hard drive when I login.

It is much easier than you think. In the Finder's Preference just uncheck 'Hard Disks'.

The Finder Preferences will only hide the drive, not prevent it from mounting.
