internet connection reminder

got my new home-dsl-conncetion up and runnning today, everything works fine trough internet connect, exept this one thing:
every now and then, say every 15 min or so, i get this reminder from internet connect asking me if i want to keep my conncetion or disconnect. is there some way to get rid of this feature(the reminder) - it's kinda annoying, and since i don't pay per minute/hour or so i would like my conncetion to run until i quit it myself..

where can i alter this 15 minuter-setting?

alex.

I think I got it.

System Preferences --> Network

At the top of the window you'll see "Location". Under that, you'll see "Show". Click on the pop-up menu next to "Show". Select Network Port Configurations. Remove the checkmark next to "Internal Modem". Click on "Apply Now", at the bottom-right corner of the window.

If you're planning on using the internal modem then this would be a problem, as in following the steps above you have disabled it. Let me know if you miss it...

OR, you could go to Internal Modem in the Network Pane, click on PPP tab, click on PPP options, and then un-check the box next to 'prompt every 30 mins' (or whatever yours shows) It could also be your PPOE software doing this (for example, MacPoet or other PPOE software) there may be a setting to warn you about staying connected. I don't think there's any PPPOE software ever needed with OS X, so that would be only with OS 9, I believe.
