Hi,
I am having trouble burning CDs with my iomega 650 external drive:

I am running Mac OS 10.2.8.on PowerBook G4. I have installed in Classic , Titanium 5.0.2.. Yet when I open Titanium it doesn't read any CD-Burners ; yet when I place a CD in the iomega external drive the desktop reads it. Do I need to upgrade it to Titanium 6.0 for it to recognize the iomega drive or is there is a way I can run it through Classic? Any advice would be appreciated.

You can't burn CDs on an external burner with Classic. Classic doesn't have access to any kind of hardware, so to speak, so external devices such as your USB CD burner will not function under Classic.

You'll need to use something in OS X to be able to burn CDs with your Iomega CD burner. Toast 6 is a good option, or you could just use the built-in CD burning capabilities of Mac OS X.

There is a free update to have Titanium 5 work natively in OS X, take a look around roxio's website for it.

Oh, forgot to add that I was using an Iomega Zip 650 CDRW drive with Toast 5.1.2 on 10.2.x without any problems.
