I know there will be an iPhone SDK. I was thinking about buying the original iPhone but now im not sure. Is the iPhone SDK an actual phone or is it a software u can download onto your real iPhone?
 
No, you have the wrong idea about the SDK. The SDK is not a device, but simply software.
SDK is Software Development kit.
It's purpose is to provide a software environment for iOS software developement, for any device that runs iOS, including not just the iPhone, but the iPad and perhaps other devices as well.

I do not know about the iPhone SDK.
