Is voice chat over MSN possible? PC<->Mac>

Someone has asked me if it's possible for someone with a PC and another with a mac to chat over MSN messenger?
Any info would be much appreciated! :)
If not can you suggest a pc <-> Mac comaptable voice chat app!

MSN no, I am sorry to say (blame you know who). however there are several programs that will do exactly what you want tot do. There is Skype which can to computer to computer for free. The cost comes in if you do Computer to regular telephone.

Also, if you run Panther or Tiger, you already have have the battle. iChat is compatible with the latest Windows version of AOL Instant Messenger for voice and I believe video chat also.
 
Satcomer is right. What you're looking for is Skype.

iVisit is one of the few ones that is reliable for video on both platforms (back to OS 9, too)

Not sure if you can chat using MSN. There is a free program called SKYPE.
Pretty cool, free, and suitable for all internet speeds.
