iTunes Freezing

Hey all, so I know these may seem very vague, but unfortunately I don't really have much to go on.

For the past few weeks, iTunes will suddenly lock up for no good reason, and sometimes it will start working properly within a few minutes, other times I will have to manually stop the program and restart it, sometimes only for it to do it almost immediately after restarting! The only things that I have done to the computer within the past few months are a. Installed a new hard drive b. Installed Snow Leopard. But there was a good two to three month gap between that and the iTunes problem, but I'm just trying to think of anything. Any ideas??

Check your Mac logs to see what is hanging it up. Go to the application (to see the logs) /Applications/Utilities/Console. Check the log entries just after iTunes freezes because you might have an iTunes plugin that is acting up.

I've figured out that it's freezing up every time iTunes tries to download my latest podcasts. Should I try reinstalling?
