Itunes Problem

Suddenly and without any good reason a whole number of songs are missing from iTunes. They are both songs I ripped from CD's and songs I downloaded. They are still on my iPod but I dont know how to recover them. i did a search on myu files bu the files have definitely dissaperaed from my mac, i did search the trash too.

OS X stores the iTunes music in ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes\ Music. If the files are not there then post again.

Yes, use an app such as iPodRip.
