iTunes: Transfer Playlists

Dear Macosx.com, i recently bought a macbook pro, and copied much of my information from my desktop G4 profile over... my Mail works great. All my iTunes music loaded, just not the playlists i assembled. I have that old profile as an alternate User profile on this Macbook, i'd just like to copy some preferences from that profile into this one, so i'll have my playlists. Can you tell me where OS 10.4.7 (the old profile OS) stores that info?

Well I am not sure but when I moved to a new drive I just copied the whole /Users/YourUserName/Music/iTunes/ folder and that kept the playlists info for me.
 
If you want to tranfer only one file, move iTunes Music Library.xml to your desk top, and then import it in iTunes via File > Library > Import Library...
 
my friend told me a great tool called aniosoft iBackup,which can transfer music,playlist, video ,contacts from ipod to iTunes and it's super-fast, only need a few minutes.so i recommend this one to all of you with problem of transferring playlists off iPod/iPhone.http://www.aniosoft.com/
