iTunes won't pop to the top of the window stack when activated?

After the latest iTunes (8.0.2) and Mac OS X (10.5.6) updates, the main iTunes window will no longer pop to the top of the window stack when iTunes is selected with Command-Tab, though the menubar does change and I can interact with the app via the usual keyboard shortcuts.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I have itunes 8.0.2 with mac OS X 10.4.11 and I have the same problem, did you manage to sort the problem out , I have been searching the various blogs but no solutions to date
