ok i cant play any games that require java, i downloaded the latest version of java from apple and installed it but still cant play em, am i doing something wrong

Then do this:

1. Open the file /Applications/Utilities/Java/J2SE 5.0/Java Preferences

2. In the Java Preferences change the "Use Version" to JSE 5.0 .

3. Also in the Java Preferences window "Java Application Runtime Settings" drag the words 'J2SE 5.0' to the top of that little window so it is above the words 'J2SE 1.4.2'.

4. Click the "Save" button.

These will make the Mac always to use the new Java 5.0 all the time. This may help.
