This is unusual in that I've found almost no one else online with a similar problem. My javascript doesn't work across any browser (firefox, opera, camino, safari). I've checked all the appropriate boxes in preferences, and tried multiple different applets. The odd thing is, a different user on the same computer can run everything fine, so it must be something I've installed or changed. The only other person in other forums with the same problem said his firewall was doing it, but OSX's firewall is inactive, and I've scoured through my applications for anything which could possibly have security features and found nothing. I'm running 10.4.11 on a 13" macbook, any ideas would be much appreciated.

I would also try to repair permissions then restart. That might be all that's required to fix this issue.
