Jaz drive with SCSI to USB prob

Hi all, we have a Jaz drive with a SCSI to USB adapter connected to a Powerbook but the Powerbook cannot see the Jaz drive! Any ideas?

Does the Powerbook see the adapter? (look in Apple System Profiler on the Devices and Volumes tab) Have you installed IomegaWare, looks like latest version is 4.0.2? Are you using the JAZ USB adapter? According to the Iomega web site, this adapter does not appear to be compatible with OS X
 
Yes the Powerbook can see the adapter in Apple System Profiler & I have installed the latest IomegaWare.
I was on live-talk with an iOmega techie yesterday and he also said the devices we incompatible with OS X but thanks anyway!
