Hello,
Im having a problem with a 2month old LaCie 750GB 3.5" Hard Disk.
It has recently stopped appearing on the desk top of my power book g4 (OSX 10.4)
In Disk Utility - cannot mount or repair the drive & get this:
Verify and Repair disk disk2s6
Checking HFS Plus volume.
Invalid B-tree node size
Volume check failed.
Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit
1 HFS volume checked
1 volume could not be repaired because of an error
In System Profiler it also see it:
LaCie Hard Drive USB:
Capacity: 698.64 GB
Removable Media: Yes
Detachable Drive: Yes
BSD Name: disk3
Version: 0.01
Bus Power (mA): 500
Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec
Manufacturer: LaCie
OS9 Drivers: Yes
Product ID: 0x1018
Serial Number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
S.M.A.R.T. status: Not Supported
Vendor ID: xxxxx
Does someone know how can I fix this & not lose all the data that's on it? Or retrieve the data?
Many thanks, 2KR8
