Logitech Communicate Camera Compatibility With Os 10.4.?

I have a problem with the Logitech Communicate web camera not working with Tiger OS and iChat. The camera shows up correctly in the system profile, but the Logitech Quick Capture does not launch so the camera never turns on.

Please advice what to do.

As far as I know, iChat is only compatible with Apple's iSight camera.

There are software solutions that enable USB cameras to work with iChat:

There's probably others, Googling around for "USB iChat" or something similar may yield more results.
