Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 3000~how to

Hello All
I have a Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 3000 Laser hooked up to my Mac, the problem I face is not knowing how to use and or install the software, after doing some digging around I found the "Logitech Control Center" , it now shows in my system preferences under "Other" but when I open the app it says "No Logitech device found ", and I have also noticed that the valume control and scroll control on the keyboard no longer works...
Is there any way I can get this keyboard to work on my Mac ?

Is the wireless Keyboard BlueTooth? If it is you will need Bluetooth on you Mac to make it work.
 
Hi, The logitech keyboard and mouse do work with Mac OS X, I used Bootcamp to install the drivers and for some reason the keyboard and mouse worked with Mac after installing the drivers on bootcamp.
