Look for a DVD driver for G4 to install mac os x 10.4

Hi all,

I have a blue G4, and I received mac os X 10.4 in a DVD. I have a CD-ROM and I need to install a DVD-ROM and I would like to buy an internal one.

How do I install an internal DVD-R driver in a G4 blue model, keepinf the existing CD-ROM?

Can I buy any dvd driver from a pc, or does it need to be specific to mac G4?

Where can I buy one?

It's possible that you don't have a DVD-ROM drive but a CD-ROM drive instead. You can purchase a DVD-ROM drive for that Power Mac G4 and you should be good to go.

It shows a B&W G3 case, but yours is almost identical, so the procedure should be the same.

stick with pioneer as brand the DVR models, mine is a 109 but anyhting above that should work.
