Looking for good Web-Based Email account that accepts/sends email from other accounts

I am using GoDaddy's Web-Based e-mail to access my email account hosted with them under my domain address. The email app sucks and does not offer rich formatting on mac browsers (Firefox or Safari), which is very frustrating for me.

Im looking for a great web-based email account (like gmail!) that allows download from a remote account. It also has to include the feature where you can send emails using that same email address you downloaded from.

Im surprised gmail does not offer that. Can anyone recommend a service that does? I would even be willing to pay if its that good.

I believe Gmail will do this. Go to Settings > Accounts. There you should see a link that says "add other email address". Follow the actions. It looks like it will work. I have not personally tried it though. You'll have to report back and let us know if it works.

I used to use Fastmail. This is an excellent web-based email service based in Canada. You might wish to try it, but no promises it will deliver what you want as it is sometime since I had an account with them.

I just realized I can send a carbon copy of my GoDaddy account emails to another email address. I can then get them in my gmail account and send emails from my gmail with any account name on it. I will just have to remind myself to BCC my godaddy account email address to keep a record back there if I want.

thanks for everyones ideas. If that does not work, Im going to sign up for Fastmail.
