Looking for info on a software application called Fitch

A friend is taking a logic class and runs an app called "Fitch" as part of the class. She's running this on a MacBook w/ OS X 10.4 (not sure of the sub-minor version (e.g. .4 or .5, etc)). I've run searches on Google but am not getting very good results. Does anyone here know about this app and could possibly post a link to where we can get support for it?

I had a google around too, could it possibly be "Fetch"?? That is a fairly well known ftp application.

Alternatively, i found reference to a phylogenetic application including a module called fitch. Its http://evolution.genetics.washington.edu/phylip.html and they have an OS X binary.

Thanks guys. I found a link to the site through a Yahoo search. It's an application that helps with logic proofs (or something like that).

For some reason, Fitch hangs my friend's MacBook and she needs to force quit the application. It's not a commercial app and I'll have her contact the developers and see what's up.
