M5 is here ! and it comes alone this time, no pro, no max, no ultra.

Should I wait for M5 mini or is the M4 pro good for another year or two ?

If they follow past updates it will be January or February when we will see the pro chip and ultra chip come into sale!

As posted some time ago, I bought an M4 MBP, as my M1 MBP died. Wife still has an M1 MBP.
I can discern no difference what so ever between the two!
The M5 will very likely be the same.

It depends. Are you collecting computers? Or, are you building a system to meet certain demands based on production and output. That is, multi-track, hi-res video, or a monstrous audio work station.
I'm writing this on a M1 mini. I do photography and some media work. FCP.
