Mac - DeBluetoothing audio output

Hi, i recently paired my motorolla ht820 with my g5 imac, and some of the sounds started automatically coming through the headset, not a problem at this point. The problem is, that when i have my headset turned off, certain sources such as windows media player and anything coming through safari for instance give the error that they cannot connect to the bluetooth audio device (flash also indicates that the audio portion of the program may need to be restarted). I've checked the sound settings and output is set to Line Out: Built in Audio.
Ok. This is when i've removed the pairing with the headset altogether, now instead of the error messages i just get no audio from the affected programs. Weird thing is, system sounds, iTunes and VLC player all seem to find the Line Out port no problem! Does anyone know how to reset the sound settings (or maybe the bluetooth settings) to get these programs reconnected to the god old non-bluetooth output?

Turn bluetooth off. Then go to /Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup and make sure the audio Output format is set to 441000.Hz. If this does not work, then reset your PRAM. Good Luck.
