Mac Mail

I am setting IMAP account - I have OS10.4.2.

I need to set account directory to mail
instead of defalt ~/Library/Mail
However when I go to account/advanced I cannot edit this line.

What should I do?

You can't -- I know, it's confusing since it appears like you can. The best you can do is to try making a symbolic link from the ~/Library/Mail folder to wherever you want to store the mail.
