I have a 2 month old current gen Mac Mini running Snow Leopard fully updated to the latest version. It is its my media server computer and will be working fine for streaming to my Apple TV. However, sometimes I cannot log into the computer remotely or at the console. The monitor just brings up a light blue screen and nothing else.
The computer did not go to sleep because it was and still can stream media. I can see the shared folders from other computers. My Macbook time machine backup still runs to the external drive plugged into the mini. Torrents are still downloading, I can still log into the Transmission web interface to add, view or remove torrents. It just wont let me log in. This just started happening so I manually rebooted by holding down the power and it came back up fine. Then after about an hour the same thing started happening. This time I left it because we were watching a movie then I let it go overnight. In the morning I could log into it without an issue, there was no reboot this time.
Edit: about 2 hours after it was working this morning it stopped. The same problem as above.
Any ideas?
