Mac Os Windows Media Player In Browsers(ie,safari,..)

Hi,

I am using windows media player in a webpage. After loading the page if i want to seek the media from one place to other place. This seeking is working fine in windows machine in Internet explorer but its not working in mac os internet explorer. plz give any suggestion to seek media in internet explorer aswell as other browsers. I am using javascript functions to control that media.

Well, first of all, Windows Media Player for Mac OS X does not carry the same feature-set that Windows Media Player for Windows does. To put it simply and bluntly, the implementation of WMP for Mac OS X absolutely sucks.

I wish I could say more to help -- can you post the exact JavaScript functions you're using for the seek functions? Perhaps you've got a bit of Windows-specific code in there or something that we can find a workaround for.
