Mac OS X 10.5

It's supposed to be "unveiled" in August during WWDC. Not released, but unveiled. It will probably be released around the same time as Vista is expected, which is sometime in January.
 
I have to it should be out right after the WWDC. Because they did the samething with 10.4. No less then 2 months after then the OS was out. I would have to say it should be out sometime around November or right be Xmas. Apple would be stuped not to over run Microsoft on this one. That is just my two cents on that. ;-)

Vista is coming out in January??? If you have a crystal ball please tell me the lottery numbers.:)
 
To go back to the original subject... Apple _said_ Leopard would be out near the end of 2006, then said it might be early 2007. It is _expected_ that Apple would release it at MWSF, which is always in early January.
 
actually satcomer, they did the tiger unveiling about 9-11 months ahead of release.

also, fryke, i can't remember apple releasing an OS at a macworld, or any event really. i reckon they should capitalise on microsfts ball-dropping escapade and hit the christmas market hard.
 
AppleExpo Paris at least brought the Public Beta back then. Then again: It's only a non-tradition until they change it.

I never said COMING out. I said it was EXPECTED. Two VERY different things. ;)

And call me Ms. Cleo, thankyouverymuch. :p
