From my previous experience it it my understanding that if you buy an XServe G5 system with 3 100GB hard drives you can use the Disk Utility to implement RAID 5 on the drives. Now the Disk Utility RAID is Software based. If you want Hardware based RAID you would need to purchase a RAID card for the box am I correct?
