Mac OSX Lion thoughts

Hello everyone,
As you know this summer Apple will lauch their next major version, OSX Lion.
I haven't found much detail about it, but if you have more details than Apple is providing feel free to share them with us: possible prices, system req.,improvements etc

There is a plethora of information about Lion on this and other Mac sites. It makes no sense for people here to repost information that is readily available almost everywhere. It makes even less sense because Lion is in development so that details change.

As for price, there's a good chance it's either going to be $29 (like Snow Leopard) or $129 (like all the other Mac OS X releases).

... Or somewhere inbetween if you choose to go the Mac App Store route. They could sell the hardware disc for 99 USD, the download for 79 USD and a family version for 129 USD for example. I think they'll have a hard time going back to 129$ right now, even though Lion certainly makes more the impression of a full upgrade instead of a smaller one like Snow Leopard.

Generally speaking, I hope they will still make a real disc available, even though they'll want to push people over to using the App Store.
