mac the ripper

hi i have been using mac the ripper to copy dvds etc but lately i have been having trouble due to some dvds showing bad secters after ripping .. is this because of copy right issues ... is there another program i can use to remove region protection etc

Not all DVDs will work with MacTheRipper, in part due to better copyright protection schemes on the disks themselves.

There are a handful of other programs out there that do the same thing, easily found with a simple Google search (hint: "Mac OS X DVD ripper").
