Macbook Pro and Fans

I just got my Macbook Pro today, and while I don't find the heat to be absolutely unbareable like most, I do have one concern. It has been running for a few hours now, and the fan doesn't seem to be turning on though. Should I be concerned?
 
The fans (2 of them) will run when needed. They are controlled by both temperature and current draw (which will probably work together), also, heavy processor use should trigger the fans. If you don't hear much from the fans, and the heat seems acceptable, then don't worry about the fans.
 
The heat doesn't seem any more drastic then anything I've seen with the previous 15 inch Powerbook. I guess all the talk just spooked me, ya know?
 
Go to the apple store and feel the heat of the Mac Books there OUCH! they need a caution sign (like on the coffee in Mac Donald's)
