MacBook. Upgrading from 10.4.11 to ?

Hi,

I had to get a new hard drive and re-install all my programs. I just bought the new microsoft office 2011 (for a good deal) but it won't work with anything less than OS X 10.5.8
I don't want to spend a lot of money and I don't do fancy things on my computer. So is it best for me to buy Leopard - which I can't find a decent price for and I'm afraid I'll just have to buy a newer version later anyway. Or should I pay the $130 for snow leopard?

pick up a copy of Snow Leopard upgrade, should cost about $30 depending on where you live.
SL upgrade will upgrade you from 10.4.11 quite nicely without any problems.
If you doubt me, just do a google search for Snow Leopard upgrade from 10.4.11.
