I have a mid 2012 MacPro running Sierra with 32gb RAM.
I'd like to use both Ethernet ports on the back - one for file transfers and one for office networking and printing.
Is there a way to do this?
Is there a tutorial somewhere? I don't really understand UNIX or whatever language is used in Terminal. I just want to set Ethernet port 1 to one DHCP for WeTransfer and TeamViewer and port 2 set to office connections and printing.
Unlike all other Macs, the Mac Pro line has two Ethernet ports. How and when would one want to use both of these ports? John Martellaro looks at a pair of typical scenarios.
