Does anyone know why when i use the MacSmurf i get an error msg

Did you install Packit? Apparently it's needed for Macsmurf to work correctly... you can get it here:

Does that still work?
Macsmurf sets up a DOS attack. Maybe the vulnerability has been closed that allows it to work? That's probably why you can't use it now... The developers quit that project over 3 years ago. http://www.cowfight.com/cf4/projects.html
