i have set up my mail application in mac.i have 2 gmails & 1 hotmail accout which is fine..the gmails sent messages keep showing up in my mail inbox..it is a hassle asi always have to delete my sent emails..i wanna fix this so if i send something from gmail it goes to the sent folder (only).isnt that the right way?? i tried adding rules in mac mail..didnt change a thing..any help is appreciated..thanks Benny

Try changing the default mailbox behaviors for a gmail account in Mail.app as per Google's suggestions:
