Mail App - Mark As Read

Hey guys,

Is there a way in Mail App to highlight a bunch of messages and make them all marked as read?

Occasianally my Mail App freaks out and seems to mark all o fmy messages as unread for some reason. I think it might be related to my magic disk filling issues... as it seems to happen after my HD has become full.

There's a keyboard shortcut: Cmd-Shift-U (Apple-Shift-U). You'll find it under the 'E-Mail' menu in 'Mark' (my system's in German, so my translation could be slightly wrong...), but if you learn the keyboard shortcut, you're fine. It toggles between read and unread states.

My system is in Japanese, the keyboard shortcuts are the international language ;-)
 
If you don't like using keyboard shortcuts, or the keyboard shortcuts don't translate across languages, you can always select the offending messages individually (or do a "select all" and get all of them) and then right-click on the messages and select "Mark > As Read".
