Maybe OT: If I sell my Power Mac G4/OS 10.2, how to transfer everything?

Well, I'm not happy about this, but recent "financial" misfortunes mainly to do with medical emergencies are forcing me to heavily consider the sale of my Power Mac G4 system in order to keep afloat.

To make the sale smooth for both myself and especially for the new owner, how to transfer ownership of the OS (10.1 that came with the system and 10.2 that was purchased later), software, and hardware with the least grief for the new owner would be tantamount. I do not desire to sell the system to someone only to find that they can't register the software/OS under their name over mine and so forth.

Thank you very much for any information, links, references in this regard. Hopefully by the summer (maybe, just maybe) the situation may allow to purchase another system.

No probs here, You would be restoring the software on this system to remove your personal info anyway, correct? Let the new owner do the initial setup for the user and password, etc. There's nothing specific about this particular system that gets registered (unlike Windoze XPee). So the new owner just registers! (If they want to)

Yes, I would. Thanks, that makes it much easier to deal with. Now all I have to do is figure if it's gonna be sold and how to restore if so.
