Microphone?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about buying a mic to record some vocals for some music.
I'll be using Logic or Garageband with my MacBook.

Could you recommend me a reasonably priced one?

Well.. I was thinking about a usb, or literally plugging it into the mic port on my MacBook?

If this is a bad idea, could you also advise me on a good value one

Well I have always head some good stories about Blue Microphone. Also the standard voice microphone for live bands is usually the Shure 58, but it is expensive.

Note: I saw the MKL USB Mics in a Macworld magizine article today.
