Mini-DVI -> DVI -> VGA

I have a plasma I'm trying to hook a Mac Mini up to. I am using a Mini-DVI to DVI adapter, and then a DVI to VGA adapter to hook up to it. The TV isn't getting a signal though. Will this setup work, or are there too many adapters?

Too many converters: your mini-DVI to DVI cable only passes the digital signal (in essence, DVI-D). There is no analog signal coming through to the DVI to VGA at all, unfortunately.

What you need is the mini-DVI to VGA adapter from Apple.

Thanks, I actually just got a mini-DVI to HDMI adapter and plugged it into one of the HDMI ports.
