About four months ago I grew tired of Mail's slow performance and wrote MacOSX.Com for help. Your advice was helpful, but one suggestion has resulted in a creeping Mail application. I used the rebuild command to rebuild the IN box and the Sent box. This command duplicated everything in the In box and made about six copies of each of the items in the Sent box. Worst of all, I can't delete the contents of the Sent box. The program has slowed to a crawl.
