Move my iTunes on to another Mac???

I just got the 17in Powerbook(it is really sweet), anyway I am in the process of moving stuff off of my Wallstreet and on to my new powerbook. I moved the folder with all my music onto the the new powerbook. I did call it iTunes. On the new powerbook I set the iTunes directory to the new folder. Itunes does not recognize any of the songs. If I double click any of these songs in the finder they go right into to iTunes. I can't import them from this directory either. I have looked at the permissions under unix and everything looks fine. What is the trick.

I hope you did not have iTunes opened when you moved it. I'm not sure how to fix your specific problem but you may want to try this.
 
are you sure you have moved "iTunes Music Library" too? It's located in the "iTunes"-folder in "Music"
