Movie Player for OSX

Can anyone recomand me a good AVI movie player for OSX?

Try those. Be aware, though, that some codecs used in AVI files just aren't available for OS X, and no matter how many different players you try, some AVI files just won't play on a Mac...

For example mPlayer works with every AVI movie I ever tried, but it's very limited. I'm looking for something that works just as well (because it runs great) but has more features...

There are already heaps of threads on this subject, but try VLC or MPlayer.

Aside from my favourites, VLC and MPlayer, there is one other method that works for those few times when my G3-500 just can't keep up with DivX/AVI, and that is to install the 3ivX codec, run the AVI file through DivX Doctor 2, and play the resulting .mov file in QuickTime.

I mainly use quicktime with about 4 codecs installed. I have vlc and mplayer for the odd one that qt won't play but there are very few. I think the 3vix codec alone should get most people by.

one thing I wanted to add without making another post is that I really wish you didn't need qt pro just to be able to play video at full screen. I had to shell out 45 bucks canadian for qt pro just to use full screen in my fav movie player.
