Ok, here's the deal:
I jsut set up an ftp server on an imac here at work. I went into the router and forwarded port 21 to the imac, thats all well and good, everything's perfect.
Now, what i want to do is to also be able to ftp into a different computer on the network (we'll call it 108). So, what i tried to do was to just open up another port (5050 - just picked one at random) and point it to 108. Then, using Transmit, i tried to log into our IP address (specifying port 5050) but the connection gets refused.
I tried ssh -ing into 108 and that worked fine.
any ideas?
