Which generation of garageband was the first to have the auto tune effect that T-Pain loves to use? How about the pitch control effect to make vocals deeper or higher without changing the tempo? Using an older mac (this means before leopard and tiger) and what to find out how far i can go before I have to purchase a new operating system.
 
Mac OS X doesn't come with iLife or Garageband - so whichever version if it's newer than what you are using at the moment will need a separate iLife install disc. (And sorry - don't know on the top of my head which version came with those effects. Hopefully someone else will)
