NANO Running video without linux???

Hello,
Me and my friend got a nano to run the ipod video software and we are able to put videos on to it through itunes I do not know how we did it any ideas?
 
Updated it with what program? What do you mean, "the menu dosent look blue and red its normal?" -- what is "normal?"

If you've got a digital camera handy, can you take a shot or two and post them here?
 
i think he is talking about a simple software update, and that you can have videos on itunes without having a video ipod. I just got linux running on my ipod color last night, video works, but it looks a little messed up because of an RGB bug i hear. Doom works great, and you can switch between Apple's iPod OS or iPod Linux. You can also customize the appearance of the browser, pretty neat stuff. With all that said, it consumes battery power horribly. Every video i converted started somewhere out at 70MB (mp4) and when i converted them for ipod linux video (raw avi), they were well around 1.5GB.
