NEED HELP: window printer spool

Hi, please help me out.

Here is my problem on mac G5 with OS 10.3 Panther. Under print setup utitily I had setup the network printer on my mac G5 and when I try to print a document to network printer and it does print but on the Window printer spool it doesn't display the document name and the owner of the computer. It only shows the SYSTEM in the spool. But other mac G3 with OS 9 it does show document name. I don't why so I make a call to apple technician but no luck. I have attached the image. Thank you very much.

Hmmmm... and the image attachment is where?

How did you set up the printer? TCP/IP? AppleTalk? What kind of printer is it? What version of Windows are you using for the print server? How is it connected to the network?

I am using Window NT sp6. All the printer had setup as Appletalk. The printers I am using are HP DesignJet5000ps and Agfa SelectSet7000. Thanks

As far as i know in order for your PC to pick up the printer on the network it has to be running compatible.. ie tcp/ip.. your PC will not pick up the printer if it is only running appletalk.. most of the newer printers can run both at the same time..most of which can be set up to run from the panel on the printer itself.
 
First thing first: let's make sure AppleTalk is indeed active in the network database.

Open "Directory Access" in the Utilities folder of the Applications folder. Make sure there is a check mark next to "AppleTalk." You can still send data over an AppleTalk network in some form if this is off, but for full AppleTalk compatibility, it should be on (checked).

Also, I would suggest setting up the printer on another protocol. AppleTalk is old and being phased out, and you might as well use a superior protocol now rather than later less you experience more problems with it. When you added the printer, did you select the AppleTalk protocol? Try deleting and setting up the printer again, but use TCP/IP or another printer-supported protocol. You may need to enable TCP/IP on the printer as well as track down its IP address, but this'll save you headaches in the future.

The appletalk in Directory Access is checked. Eventhough I setup the TCP/IP printer in Window but still get that problem. Thanks
