Need Help with Network Mapping MAC 10.6

my friend has a netgear router that has a readyshare capability w/c is like a NAS in some point.

so the windows(7) can detect the readyshare and i have successfully mount it as a drive using the command \\readyshare\myfoldername\

now how can i mount this ready share using SMB command

what i did, i clicked to Go>Connect to Server> and then i type SMB:/readyshare/myfolder/ for some reason in wont connect, but when i tried to browse i can see my readyshare but i can't connect to it

did i do something wrong?

Use the IP instead of the name (still using SMB) of the NAS device and see if you can connect to it and mount it.

SMB:/readyshare/myfolder/

...should be:

SMB://readyshare/myfolder/

...note the double-forward-slash after "SMB:".
