I have connected the airport express to the router that distributes my cable connection. The network is found on my ibook and wirelessinternet works. What i am trying to do is network the ibook and other mac that are running off the same router. anyone know how to do this? The other mac doesn't have an airport card but is linked to the airport express through the router. I want to share both computers music through itunes also.

You should just be able to turn on "Personal File Sharing" in the "Sharing" pane of the System Preferences on one computer or the other (or both) and then use the Finder's "Connect to Server" command to connect one machine to the other.

You also have to make sure the AirPort Express isn't "Distributing IP addresses" to your wireless client(s).

You can check easily by seeing if your wireless Mac has an IP address like 10.0.0.X and your wired Mac one like 192.168.X.X

If they're in the same range then follow what El Diablo said.

The reason i mention this at all is because I believe AirPort Express distributes its own IP addresses by default, but I'm not 100 % sure...(I left mine with my sister, what a gent eh).
