New Apple Keyboards Not Working Correct?

I have a new apple keyboard that the volume control and cd eject keys do not work. Put the old one on and they work fine. I got a 2nd new one and it does the same thing. It is a G4 mirrored door mac, what could be the issue or what should I try??

Have you tried plugging in the keyboard, then restarting the computer, then trying the keys?

Well, I have the new keyboard and it works fine. It sounds like the Finder Preference maybe needs to be reset. Try plugging in the new keyboard, then navigate to Users->Your home folder->Library->Preferences and find com.apple.finder.plist and throw that into trash, then log out or restart (with the new keyboard still plugged in).
