New Powerbook 15"

Hi, I am interested in purchasing one of the 2nd gen alubooks, I orignially was going to get the superdrive model with a student discount (I am a student) and the updated GFX (same card but 128megs) for £1650 but then I found the combo model brand new for only £700!!! I am in a dilema, will the performance be not that noticable between the two or should I snap up the bargain while I can?

Here's a way to tell if it's a deal too good to pass up on: If you bought it for £700, could you turn around and sell it for more? If yes, then do it. if you're not satisfied with the machine when you purchase it, turn around and sell it for a profit.
