Ok, this is something of a cross post, but I thought the people in this forum would be interested in this.
I just released, for beta testing, timeLoop. It's a system daemon that will run cron jobs missed while the computer was asleep/shut down. Zero configuration required, works right along with cron.
This whole thing came about from Michael Sanford asking (back in late Nov/ early Dec) about anything that could run missed cron jobs. So I'll thank ya for the inspiration, Michael.
Also curse ya a bit, 'cause I've done nothing but code on it for the last 4 and half months.
But, that's more my fault than anything you did.
